Job summary

Winchester Interconnect in Peabody, MA is seeking a Brazer to join our manufacturing team, handling heat-treated parts, soldering connectors and coaxial cables according to specifications, with growth opportunities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of soldering experience (connectors and cables).
  • Experience in reading drawings is essential.
  • Good knowledge of shop math.
  • Strong knowledge of brazing equipment and practice.

Responsibilities

  • Review prints and determine heat-treat requirements based on part dimensions.
  • Resolve quality issues by adjusting process parameters to correct discrepancies.
  • Set up and solder components using torches or ovens to assemble parts.
  • Prepare parts for heat treatment by crimping or flaring to specification.
  • Track job time accurately using barcoding or other methods to ensure quality, support cost reduction, and improve productivity.
  • Clean parts using mild acid or tumbling machines.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and complying with legal regulations.

Pay Transparency

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
