Job summary

A well-established music school is hiring a qualified Trumpet Instructor in the United States, starting in March. The ideal candidate will have solid Trumpet skills, a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance or related field, and a passion for teaching students of all ages. Responsibilities include delivering one-on-one lessons, preparing students for performances, and teaching small groups. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-on-1 lessons across genres including Classical, Pop, Rock, Jazz, R&B, Soul.
• Prepare students for community performances and auditions.
• Teach small groups and ensembles, maintaining organization.
• Be well-organized, keep great notes on students.
• Teach small groups and ensembles (group pay rate may be higher).

The Boston School of Music Arts, a well established area music school with two locations, is hiring an additional qualified Trumpet Instructor, beginning in March. Experience with an additional instrument - other Piano or other brasswinds preferred.

Should be experienced performer, great with children, and have an outgoing personality.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching students ages 5 and up, and Adults, and can help to provide a great musical foundation. This is an in-school (not in-home or online-only) position.

The successful candidate will be a W2 employee, not an independent contractor.
