Job summary

The University of Denver is seeking a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer to join the University Relations team in Denver. You will own projects from concept to final delivery, shaping moving-image content for social, web, and large-format displays.

With guidance from creative leadership, you will edit, color grade, and animate, collaborating with designers, writers, photographers, and campus partners to elevate DU's brand through compelling storytelling across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, motion design, graphic design, communications, or related field with 2 years of experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics.
• Demonstrated success in video editing and motion graphics with a portfolio.
• Experience managing video projects from concept through execution.
• Experience producing content optimized for social media and digital platforms.
• Experience with color grading and audio.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce video content from raw footage through final delivery.
• Design and animate motion graphics including titles and kinetic typography.
• Assist in planning video shoots, scripting/storyboarding, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with marketing to align concepts with brand standards.
• Manage media assets and project files in the division system.
• Perform other duties such as graphic design, photography, and event support.
