Baxter Hotel Group invites you to join the opening teams for Tru & Home2 Suites by Hilton San Diego Downtown. Two brand-new hotels will open in November 2026, rising 16 stories with 263 rooms and a rooftop bar and pool.

As a Breakfast Attendant, you will prepare and serve breakfast to brand standards, keep the buffet stocked, and maintain a clean dining area while delivering warm, friendly service to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required; training provided.
• California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Friendly, positive attitude and a passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and create a welcoming breakfast atmosphere.
• Prepare and cook breakfast items according to brand recipes and standards.
• Set up the breakfast buffet before opening and monitor items during service.
• Take down the buffet and properly store leftovers at the end of service.
• Bus tables and clean the dining area; wash and sanitize dishes and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and address guest questions promptly.
• Monitor inventory and report low stock to leadership; keep breakfast areas clean and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership.
