Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing.
  • Experience within prestige beauty, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing integrated marketing campaigns and leading product launches.
  • Strong expertise in brand strategy, positioning, messaging development, and go‑to‑market planning.
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, and multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics and business impact measurement.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the company's brand positioning, messaging architecture, and overall brand strategy.
  • Ensure a consistent and differentiated brand identity across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Translate scientific and technical product information into accessible and engaging consumer messaging.
  • Monitor consumer trends, competitive activity, and category developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance brand authority within beauty, wellness, healthy aging, and innovation-focused categories.
  • Lead annual and seasonal marketing calendars, including product launches, campaigns, partnerships, events, and brand initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive omnichannel marketing plans with defined objectives, target audiences, channel strategies, budgets, deliverables, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with growth, creative, social media, influencer, PR, email, e-commerce, and retail teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Create campaign briefs and oversee programs from concept through launch and post-campaign analysis.
  • Balance long-term brand-building objectives with customer acquisition and revenue growth goals.
  • Own go-to-market strategy development for new product introductions.
  • Develop product positioning, messaging frameworks, launch narratives, and channel-specific toolkits.
  • Partner with product, education, clinical, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure accuracy and differentiation.
  • Build launch plans that create awareness, generate demand, drive conversion, and sustain momentum post-launch.
  • Develop strategic creative briefs informed by consumer insights and business objectives.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to create campaigns, content, and marketing assets.
  • Oversee campaign production timelines, asset development, and channel execution.
  • Maintain high creative standards while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships, collaborations, sponsorships, and experiential opportunities.
  • Lead marketing support for events, activations, and high‑impact brand moments.
  • Collaborate with PR, influencer, and social teams to maximize campaign reach and engagement.
  • Utilize consumer research, competitive intelligence, and campaign analytics to guide marketing decisions.
  • Establish success metrics and regular reporting processes.
  • Monitor brand health metrics, awareness, sentiment, engagement, and commercial performance.

A growing consumer skincare and wellness company is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Brand Marketing Director to lead brand strategy, campaign development, product launch planning, and integrated marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for translating scientific innovation and product benefits into compelling consumer-facing narratives that build brand awareness, strengthen market positioning, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy

The salary range for this position is $170,000-$180,000 annually and includes a benefits package with unlimitedPTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
