Job description

The Brand Manager owns a brand or product family end to end: the line plan, the forecast, the pricing, and the performance against financial goals. This role decides what gets made, how it is positioned, and how it comes to market, then hands off to Sales and Performance Marketing with the positioning, claims, assets, and success criteria they need. It combines commercial ownership of a product line with responsibility for keeping the brand consistent across every consumer touchpoint.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
  • Own the line plan and TLP for an assigned brand or product family, including forecasting, pricing tiers, and margin targets.
  • Manage the product roadmap, balancing evergreen carry-forwards against newness.
  • Identify white space and define innovation direction, positioning, and key features that drive growth.
  • Manage the business: track performance against financial goals and adjust the plan when results move.
Brand Building
  • Maintain and evolve brand positioning, identity, and vision for the assigned brand.
  • Keep brand voice, tone, and visual identity consistent across packaging, retail, digital, and marketing.
  • Apply the guardrails for what does and does not belong under the brand, and elevate commercial pressure to stretch it.
  • Own category and competitive analysis for the assigned brand and translate it into line plan decisions.
  • Stay ahead of consumer trends and cultural moments relevant to the brand.
  • Synthesize POS data, social insights, and market research into strategy recommendations.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Product Development, Engineering, and Design to hit delivery timelines and cost margins.
  • Own the handoff to Sales: build retailer sell-in decks and support buyer presentations.
  • Collaborate with Creative Services, Social, Licensing, and Growth Marketing.
  • Direct the day to day work of Assistant Brand Managers and Coordinators on assigned projects.
  • Define audience behavioral and psychographic profiles that inform creative decisions.
  • Own messaging frameworks for social, email, PDP, and ad copy.
  • Initiate creative briefs for all consumer touchpoints on the assigned brand.
  • Lead GTM strategy and calendar for new launches and key carry-forwards.
  • Own GTM readiness and the handoff to Performance Marketing: positioning, claims, assets, audience definition, and launch success criteria delivered before media investment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in brand marketing, product marketing, or category management.
  • Experience owning a product line or brand, not just individual campaigns.
  • Track record managing a product line against financial growth targets.
  • Comfortable forecasting, setting pricing, and driving to margin goals.
  • Strong data literacy. You can pull insights from POS data and build a credible line plan.
  • Natural storyteller. You can turn a product concept into a brand narrative that resonates.
  • A cross-functional collaborator who earns trust without a dotted line.
  • Adaptable by nature. Priorities shift here, and you don't get rattled.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  • Project success rate and on-time launch delivery.
  • Budget adherence and margin performance.
  • Revenue and market share growth for the assigned brand or product family.
  • Strength and effectiveness of retailer sell-in materials.
  • Brand consistency and consumer touchpoint quality.
WHO THRIVES HERE

You see a gap and fill it. You take ownership without being asked. You move fast without cutting corners on quality. You are genuinely excited about the brands you work on, and it shows in everything you build.
