Job summary

Ruder Finn in New York, NY is seeking an Account Supervisor to drive day-to-day activity across consumer brands’ integrated marketing programs. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, inspire teams, and guide campaigns spanning storytelling, media relations, influencer marketing, experiential activations, and social content.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in PR/IC, strong writing, and the ability to navigate complex, fast-moving environments while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in public relations, integrated communications, or related field, preferably at an agency.
• Experience supporting/leading integrated consumer programs including earned media, influencer marketing, activations, social, partnerships, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day account lead across consumer brands, managing timelines, budgets, and team responsibilities.
• Support account strategy and tactical execution aligned to brand story and goals.
• Build trusted client relationships; understand needs, objectives, and market dynamics.
• Provide thoughtful client counsel, clear recommendations, and proactive problem-solving.
• Manage multiple projects from planning through execution with timelines and blockers.
• Oversee account management processes: status reports, agendas, recaps, trackers, budgets, scopes.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the BX practice.
