Jewish Family & Children's Services of the Suncoast in Sarasota, FL seeks a Marketing & Events Specialist to tell the impact story through social media and content creation, raising brand awareness in the community. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field and at least 3 years of nonprofit marketing or fundraising

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing or fundraising within a community-based nonprofit.
Experience planning and executing fundraising and other special events.
Non-profit experience preferred.
Proficiency with social media tracking tools and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
Proficiency in event management software, CRM databases and marketing automation tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DonorPerfect and Constant Contact.

Responsibilities

Tell the story of JFCS impact through social media and content creation to build brand awareness.
Lead planning and implementation of JFCS special events.
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with development goals.
Create and execute a long-range marketing, branding and community relations plan.
Expand community outreach through speaker’s bureau and volunteer activities.
Design multi-channel campaigns across email, social media, print and web.
Cultivate relationships with media, volunteers and partner organizations.
Collaborate on donor communications, recognition and stewardship plans.
Monitor campaign performance and deliver post-event reports.
