Job summary

Picogrid is seeking a Visual Designer to scale its brand system across presentations, diagrams, docs, hardware and merch. You will formalize standards with the Design Lead, apply them to new surfaces, and build tools to empower non-design teammates. Collaboration with Marketing, Engineering and BD is essential to deliver quality at speed.

You will innovate with AI-assisted production, crafting templates, instructions, and pipelines that accelerate output while maintaining brand fidelity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, brand design, or visual communication.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design and typography, including identity systems or reusable tools.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other modern design tools.
• Hands-on experience building with Generative AI – custom instructions, generation pipelines, or code-based design tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain design decisions and train teammates.
• U.S. Person status required for access to ITAR-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Create elegant, clear graphics and communication across physical and digital surfaces.
• Develop and extend the brand system; formalize and document brand standards, then apply them to new surfaces.
• Develop templates for presentations, product graphics and documentation.
• Turn standards into tools that allow non-design teammates to produce high quality output.
• Build AI-assisted brand workflows; create and maintain custom instructions, skills, prompt libraries, and generation pipelines.
• Scale recurring production.
• Drive adoption across the company; train teams on tools.
• Contribute to high-profile brand and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain the brand asset library and templates.
