Job summary

Musicopia seeks a Media & Design Specialist to strengthen our visual communications. This project-based, independent contractor role focuses on creating reusable branded templates, visual standards, and creative systems for newsletters, reports, and event materials.

Working with the Brand Storyteller, you will deliver polished assets across newsletters, sponsorship decks, social media, and stationery, while providing photography and video support as needed.

Qualifications

• Photography and videography capabilities that can support program and event storytelling.
• Ability to translate a creative brief into practical deliverables.
• Strong organization, file-management practices, attention to detail, and independent project delivery.
• PA Criminal History Check, State Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI background check are all required to do on-site work.
• Interest in music, dance, nonprofit communications, and/or K-12 arts education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create reusable templates for newsletters, e-blasts, program brochures, reports, sponsorship decks, and other materials.
• Design polished assets and adapt approved creative across formats and channels.
• Provide editable source files, templates, and final files in agreed formats.
• Apply Musicopia brand standards for clear, accessible materials.
• Provide photography and videography coverage for priority programs and events.
• Capture and edit professional photographs and videos as needed.
• Deliver organized asset packages and collaborate with the Brand Storyteller.
• Meet milestones and incorporate feedback within the engagement terms.
