Mercor is seeking an Agency Brand Design Expert for a remote contract role. You will design grading criteria for brand deliverables, score AI-generated and human work, and apply evidence-based judgment to ensure reproducible results.

The role emphasizes independence, asynchronous work, and improving AI model performance. With 5+ years in top-tier brand design and deep typography/identity knowledge, you will contribute to brand projects and show strong written communication while collaborating

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in brand, visual, or graphic design.
• Background at world-class independent brand and design agencies.
• Experience in core brand disciplines: Creative Director, Brand Designer, Web Designer, or Graphic Designer.
• Deep fluency in typography, layout, color, composition, and brand identity systems.
• Exceptionally strong written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with peer-reviewed judgment.

Position: Agency Brand Design Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$150/hour
Location: Remote

• Design precise, task‑specific grading criteria for real‑world brand design deliverables such as brand identity systems, logos, and marketing visuals.


• Score AI-generated and human work samples against criteria with detailed written justifications for each score.
