Erie 1 BOCES in West Seneca, NY seeks a Public Relations Specialist to support the creation and maintenance of communications materials and systems for Technology Services and related divisions. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, branded communications across platforms and maintain digital content.

The role requires strong written and verbal skills, experience in public relations or related initiatives, and knowledge of content management systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience supporting communications, public relations, marketing, branding, or related initiatives.
• Knowledge of website content management, SharePoint, and digital communications best practices.
• Experience creating digital and print communications materials.

Responsibilities

• Support creation and maintenance of communications materials and systems for WNYRIC/Technology Services and Professional Learning and School Supports divisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure materials are organized, timely and aligned with branch needs.
• Update and maintain websites, webpages and digital content for accuracy and accessibility.
• Support creation and maintenance of SharePoint pages and employee-facing communication hubs.
• Create and maintain digital and physical branded materials including templates, flyers, presentations, and handouts.
• Provide photo and visual content support for events.
• Support event communications and logistics.
• Assist users of Canva, website systems and learning management systems.
