Job summary

DreamFields, a leading cannabis company and Jeeter brand, seeks a Brand Ambassador (Part-Time) in Detroit to boost brand awareness, build relationships with dispensaries, and support the sales team in meeting goals.

You will educate budtenders and consumers, coordinate events, capture content for social channels, and maintain visual merchandising standards. The role requires professionalism, enthusiasm, reliability, and the ability to travel to assigned locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or event promotions.
• 1+ years of experience in a public-facing event role.
• 1+ years of experience within the legal cannabis industry, with cannabis event experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or client-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store services, including event demos, trainings, and Patient Appreciation Days (PADs) at client dispensaries.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product line to effectively communicate its benefits to both dispensary staff and consumers.
• Capture high-quality video and photo content during events to enhance social media presence and engagement.
• Drive product sales during demos through direct education of budtenders and customers.
• Oversee visual merchandising and ensure proper product placement in dispensary accounts.
• Lead budtender training sessions to increase product knowledge and administer assessments as needed.
• Process invoices, track accruals, and prepare monthly reports for the marketing team to ensure accurate financial records.
• Monitor store traffic, collect feedback, and gather market intelligence to inform marketing strategies.
• Plan and execute events that align with brand objectives, ensuring seamless execution.
• Ensure that marketing materials, such as point-of-sale items and collateral, are available and up to date.
• Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to execute promotional requests and strategies from management.

Education And Experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate various event and dispensary environments.
• Must have flexible availability, including weekends, afternoons, and evenings, to accommodate event schedules.
• Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time, visiting dispensaries and attending events in the assigned location.

Work Schedule (Non-Exempt)

This position is scheduled on a part-time basis. Specific shift times and workdays are determined by the operation and may vary by location. Business needs may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overtime. Scheduled start and end times, assigned shifts, and workdays are subject to change based on staffing and operational requirements. Whenever feasible, advance notice of schedule changes will be provided. On-site presence as needed for audits, team meetings, or cross-functional initiatives. Occasional travel (<10%) for audits or state agency coordination.
