Job summary

Duck Yes! Events Corp is hiring event staff to help hand out free swag at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. This one-time W-2 gig offers a friendly, engaging role requiring customer service or hospitality experience and a 21+ age limit.

The shift runs on August 24, 9:30am–6:30pm at Purdue University. Pay is $30/hour with direct deposit within two weeks after the event. Parking reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• Customer service or hospitality experience is desired.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with the ability to engage crowds.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to stand for the shift.

Responsibilities

• Hand out free product and share key brand facts.
• Engage with attendees and hand out giveaways.
• Restock products, tidy the booth, and help keep the area clean.
• Support the manager with break coverage and light setup/tear-down.

Duck Yes! Events Corp is hiring additional event staff to help hand out free swag at an upcoming Back To College event at Purdue University!

This is the perfect, one-time gig for someone who has:

• Customer Service experience
• Sales or Hospitality experience.
• Greek Life or tabling volunteer experience.
• If you have retail experience or are just someone not afraid to talk to anyone, You’ll love this position! No prior event experience needed.Just a can do attitude.

Location: Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN

Date & Time:

August 24th 9:30am - 6:30pm

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour - This is a one time W-2 position, not a full time role. All payments are received 2 weeks post event.

Requirements:

• Must be 21+ years old
• Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality
• Comfortable engaging with large crowds
• Strong customer-facing skills and professionalism
• Ability to stay organized and assist with multiple tasks
• Must sign a photo/video release

Event Overview & Responsibilities:

Event Staff will be the face of the popular brand, creating a fun, engaging experience for Students.

Duties include:

• Handing out free product and sharing key brand facts
• Engaging with attendees and handing out giveaways
• Restocking products, tidying the booth, and assisting with overall cleanliness
• Supporting manager with break coverage and light event set-up/tear-down

Additional Details:

• This is a W-2 opportunity (not 1091)
• All staff must be local hires (no travel/lodging provided)
• Payment: Direct deposit within 2 weeks
