Job description

We’re looking for enthusiastic and outgoing Brand Ambassadors to represent our clients' brands, build strong relationships with the public, and help increase brand awareness. You’ll be the face and voice of the client, as well as Flyspace, and will create positive and memorable experiences. Brand ambassadors provide event set up and tear down, as well as brand representation and community engagement. The pay rate is $18/hr.

Key Responsibilities and Characteristics
  • Interact with the public with a positive attitude and help guests have a memorable experience in a professional manner.
  • Track engagement metrics and report back to Management immediately following the event.
  • Keep the activation area free of clutter and surfaces clean.
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a friendly, confident, and approachable personality for the duration of the event.
  • Must follow the dress code as instructed in advance by Management.
  • Represent the brand and industry in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Previous brand ambassador, sales, marketing, or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Must be willing to occasionally travel.
1. General Support
  • Assist with on-site setup, operation, and teardown of event elements such as furniture, décor, signage, basic AV equipment or other activation equipment.
  • Provide logistical support during events, such as replenishing supplies, running errands, or assisting guests under direction.
  • Follow instructions from Management to complete tasks efficiently and to standard.
2. Physical and Logistical Support
  • Perform hands‑on tasks requiring physical effort, such as lifting, carrying, or assembling items.
  • Assist with the transportation of equipment, materials, or other resources between locations.
  • Ensure tools, materials, or equipment are staged and ready for use as directed by leadership.
3. Administrative and Coordination Assistance
  • Maintain basic records, such as inventory checklists, equipment logs, or task completion notes.
  • Provide updates on task progress and completion to Management.
  • Support team communication by relaying messages or confirming schedules as needed and required.
4. Learning and Skill Development
  • Participate in training or hands‑on learning opportunities to develop knowledge of equipment, safety practices, and workflows.
  • Shadow experienced team members to build foundational skills and understanding of the role.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges and improve performance over time.
5. Safety and Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Participate in pre‑operation or pre‑event safety briefings.
  • Report hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to leadership promptly.
Reporting and Accountability
  • Provide updates on task progress and seek clarification when necessary to ensure accuracy.
  • Report any challenges, delays, or incidents encountered during operations.
Project Role and Expectations
  • Assist with the execution of project‑related tasks, such as staging materials, preparing equipment, or supporting on‑site operations.
  • Follow instructions from team leadership to ensure tasks are completed on time and to standard.
  • Contribute to on‑site organization and readiness by ensuring materials are properly handled and stored.
Operational Role and Expectations
  • Support daily operational workflows by performing assigned tasks such as organizing inventory or cleaning equipment.
  • Assist with the transport, setup, or breakdown of materials and equipment for operational needs.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and contribute to operational efficiency through reliable effort.
  • Occasionally transition into a customer‑facing role to resolve inquiries or provide direct assistance to attendees, as needed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Ambassadors must sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. They frequently must work outside in extreme weather conditions. They may be required to use a computer with a keyboard, telephone, or handheld mobile device. They will be required to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including event equipment such as tables, chairs, linens, audio, video, and lighting. Ambassadors must read, see, hear, and speak English, be able to travel independently to off‑site locations, and may be required to safely operate a scissor lift with certification.

Workdays and Shifts
  • This is a part‑time position.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include long hours, irregular times, including weekends, nights, and some holidays.
Education, Certification(s), and/or License(s) Required
  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, fine arts, art history, events or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain scissor lift and forklift certification if not already certified.
  • Ability to obtain DOT Med card if not already in possession.
  • Child Protection Clearances may be required in accordance with event requirements.
Other Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Entry‑level position requiring minimal experience; prior exposure to event production, brand ambassador, sales, marketing, or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrates reliability, a strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
