Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking energetic Brand Ambassadors to represent a premium tobacco brand at retail locations across Tennessee. The role focuses on engaging adult consumers, delivering compliant conversations, and collecting feedback during scheduled activations.

You will travel within the Chattanooga territory, verify age, and ensure all interactions adhere to company policies. The position offers weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision, plus 401k

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous brand ambassador/retail experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled retail activations within an assigned geographic territory.
• Engage adult tobacco consumers in compliant conversations about tobacco products.
• Verify age eligibility and ensure interactions comply with policies and regulations.
• Administer consumer surveys and collect market feedback and insights.
• Distribute promotional materials and offers, including coupons and incentives.
• Educate consumers on promotions and drive brand engagement.
• Build relationships with retail personnel and store management.
• Document activity results and survey completion in reporting systems.
• Maintain program materials, displays, and activation assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled retail activations within an assigned geographic territory
• Engage adult tobacco consumers in meaningful, compliant conversations about tobacco products
• Verify age eligibility and ensure all interactions comply with company policies, local regulations, and program guidelines
• Administer consumer surveys and accurately collect market feedback and insights
• Distribute approved promotional materials and consumer offers, including coupons and incentives
• Educate consumers on available promotions
• Encourage purchase consideration through consultative consumer engagement
• Build positive relationships with retail personnel and store management
• Accurately document activity results, consumer interactions, and survey completion through designated reporting systems
• Maintain all program materials, displays, and activation assets in a professional manner
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support scheduled retail visits and events

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in brand ambassador, retail sales, customer service, hospitality, event marketing, or promotional marketing roles preferred
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities
• Comfortable approaching and engaging consumers in a retail environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to utilize mobile applications and reporting tools
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to stand for extended periods and remain active throughout scheduled events
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds

Work Environment

This position requires regular travel throughout an assigned territory and frequent work within convenience store and retail environments. Brand Ambassadors typically spend approximately four hours per retail activation interacting directly with adult consumers, collecting feedback, and promoting brand awareness and product consideration.
