Job summary

Cox Media Group in Tampa is seeking an Activation Specialist to serve as a Brand Ambassador at events, assist the promotions team, and create content across departments. This entry-level, part-time role may offer opportunities to shadow CMG employees and gain experience in videography, graphic design, social media, marketing, and event planning.

Qualifications

• Must be a professional team player with customer focus and ability to take initiative and direction.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Energetic and adaptable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the public at events and festivals, energizing attendees.
• Represent stations professionally on-site, in the office, and on social media.
• Set up and break down event promotional equipment.
• Create and post engaging content on station social media.
• Assist departments with videography, design, social media, promotions, sales and programming.
• Prepare event recaps for management.
• Coordinate promotions and contests.
• Maintain station vehicles and promotional equipment.
• Communicate with listeners via email, phone and in person.
• Support promotions team in daily office tasks.
