Job summary

Keller is looking for a Branch Accountant to support financial management for Keller North America projects from the Cleveland, Ohio office. The role partners with project managers, field operations, branch leadership, and finance to ensure accurate reporting, billing, and control across project lifecycles.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience in construction or project-based environments, with IFRS/ASC revenue recognition knowledge, advanced Excel, and ERP systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CPA designation or active progress toward certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based environments.
• Experience with project accounting, job cost accounting, financial reporting, and monthly close processes.
• Working knowledge of IFRS/ASC revenue recognition (IFRS 15 or ASC 606) is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis.
• Strong ERP system skills and ability to learn new technologies (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Viewpoint, JD Edwards).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with project teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own project accounting and financial ownership, including cost capture and alignment to contract scope.
• Manage revenue recognition, change orders, and claims.
• Oversee billings, collections, and AR performance to support cash flow.
• Partner with PMs on forecasting, variance analysis, and margin tracking.
• Lead weekly and monthly project reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support monthly close, audit readiness, and internal controls.
