INB, N.A. in Riverton, Illinois, is seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor to support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, staff development, and adherence to policies.
The role combines banking operations with frontline customer service, including opening accounts, educating customers on products, cross-selling, and ensuring accurate cash handling. In-office position; prior teller and supervisory experience preferred.

Under limited supervision, the Branch Operations Supervisor will assist the Branch Manager in supervising branch operations and staff development by communicating policies and procedures, providing technical support, delegating responsibilities, evaluating performance, and supporting sales and service activities. This position also serves as a banker and front-line customer ambassador, identifying customer needs through outbound calling, in-person meetings, inbound phone calls, and daily branch interactions; educating customers about INB financial products and services; opening and maintaining accounts; completing transactions; and selling or referring appropriate solutions to meet customer needs.

This job has teller direct reports and Relationship Bankers as it relates to teller functions both part-time and full-time. Also requires supervisory responsibilities on the teller line.
Assists the Branch Manager in supervising branch staff in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Includes assisting with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
High school degree or equivalent required; Two years teller experience and/or training required in area of cash handling or customer service. Prior management experience recommended.
Requires ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbally); Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Requires ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Requires ability to use good judgement in making routine and complex decisions; Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products and Services; Ability to accurately handle large sums of cash; Must be goal oriented and able to achieve individual goals as well as work as a team player to achieve departmental and/or Bank goals; Flexibility is necessary with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with an ability to quickly learn other bank related programs

$41,600- $43,000 annually.
The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
