An established industry player is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead and coordinate branch operations. This role involves overseeing team performance, managing budgets, and ensuring safety compliance. The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Branch, including asset management.
Conduct interviews, hire, and train new team members; perform performance appraisals, team member counseling, and disciplinary actions; address complaints and resolve problems when possible. Communicate regularly with the Regional Operations Manager and Human Resources as needed. Promote a customer service-oriented philosophy among team members. Prepare and submit the annual operational budget and develop resource utilization plans. Plan for personnel safety, ensure safety procedures are followed, and recommend safety improvements. Collaborate with customers and the Branch management team to evaluate and expand services. Use vehicles for deliveries and merchandise pickup in a safe and courteous manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a warehouse-related field; 1 year of cash handling experience; high school diploma or GED; fluency in English; eligibility to work in the United States; availability to work Monday through Saturday; valid driver’s license meeting state requirements; willingness to obtain powered equipment certification.
Preferred candidates will be highly organized, understand staffing and department functions, demonstrate multitasking ability, and be willing to develop skills. Bilingual skills and an associate degree are a plus. Understanding of P&L is preferred.
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
Willing to obtain powered equipment certification; valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and listen; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch; occasionally sit, climb, balance. Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, and focus adjustment.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals; high noise levels. Reasonable accommodations available.
