Job summary

The Bank Of Commerce is seeking a Branch Operations Manager in Idaho Falls to oversee daily branch activities, budgets, and customer support. You will lead a team, ensure operational excellence, and address customer banking needs. Strong leadership and organizational skills are required.

Summary: Responsible for daily activities for branches.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Generally responsible for a more complex branch operation

  • Responsible for a portion of the bank’s daily operations

  • Prepares annual budget and goals for branch

  • Provides information and assistance to customers

  • Resolves banking problems for customers

  • Participates in the scheduling of hours

  • Participates in the hiring and performance rating of employees

  • Requires a thorough understanding of and experience in branch banking operations

  • Develops and maintains account relationships, both credit and noncredit

  • Develops primary customer and prospect lists for the purpose of marketing a broad range on bank services

  • Possesses the ability to remedy deficiencies when appropriate

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.



Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
