Job summary

State of South Carolina’s Mt. Pleasant DMV Branch is seeking a Branch Supervisor II who can lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with agency policies. You will coordinate office activities, conduct training, and assist with knowledge testing and CDL-related duties.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to customer service in a high-volume office setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan and coordinate day-to-day branch operations.
• Lead staff, supervise personnel matters and training.
• Administer knowledge tests and assist with CDL-related duties.
• Oversee audits, cash handling, and deposit processes.
• Assist the public with DMV transactions and inquiries.
• Maintain inventory and prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly reports.
