Raymond James is seeking an entry-level Operations Associate in the Jackson, MS area to process money movements of client funds under supervision. The role includes handling inquiries, mail distribution, and transmitting messages to the home office while ensuring compliance documentation and account-opening support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years securities industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and directs visitors and telephone calls; maintains record of inquiries.
• Sorts, screens and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
• Processes money movement of funds, disbursements and check delivery.
• Transmits and receives messages with home office.
• Processes securities transactions, including transmitting orders, cancellation and correction of orders and ensuring delivery to home office with receipt confirmation.
• Maintains documentation to cashiering per compliance requirements.
• Assists with audit preparation and opening client accounts; supports client onboarding.
