Job summary

The Greenery Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the daily operations and overall success of the branch business unit in South Carolina.

You will manage budgets, strategic sales plans, CRM, labor management and efficiency to drive growth and profitability. You will lead and empower the team to achieve branch metrics across safety, quality and productivity while collaborating with the Regional Vice President and cross-functional departments to ensure successful operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience required.
  • Minimum of three years of management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor safety, quality, and productivity on an ongoing basis.
  • Mentor and lead branch team to balance company goals with employee satisfaction.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to enhance teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Interview, hire, support recruiting, training and development of staff.
  • Model and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily workflow and operations of branch and management of all customer accounts.
  • Ensure total P&L ownership for the branch.
  • Ensure branch staffing meets business needs.
  • Support irrigation system management when necessary.
  • Manage Aspire and other software systems to maximize performance.
  • Recognize employees at all levels within the branch.
  • Conduct performance and compensation reviews with HR.
  • Manage key relationships to achieve sales, renewal and retention goals.
  • Collaborate with Executive Team to develop the branch budget.

Job Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success and day-to-day operations of the branch business unit.

This position is responsible for the financial success of the business unit and will participate in the development and management of annual operational budgets, strategic sales plans, customer Relationship Management and Labor Management and Efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Monitor safety, quality, and productivity on an ongoing basis
  • Monitors, mentors, and leads branch team in order to balance company goals with employee satisfaction
  • Foster a collaborative environment to enhance teamwork and problem-solving
  • Interview, hire, supports recruiting, training and development of staff
  • Models and enforces all company policies and procedures
  • Oversees the daily workflow and operations of the branch support and management of all customer accounts
  • Responsible for total P&L ownership for the branch
  • Ensure that jobs are completed according to contract and within budget
  • Ensure branch staffing levels meet the needs of the business
  • Provide support for irrigation system management when necessary
  • Manage Aspire and other integrated software systems to maximize operational performance
  • Responsible for employee recognition at all levels within the branch
  • Conduct performance and compensation reviews in coordination with Human Resources
  • Manage key relationships (vendors, clients, coworkers) to achieve sales, renewal and retention goals
  • Work with the Executive Team to develop and establish the branch’s annual budget
  • Work with Fleet Team to ensure proper assets are acquired, utilized and maintained
  • Work with Human Resources to address promotions, demotions, corrective actions, terminations, personnel staffing and training needs

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently required to drive for short to long distances
  • Prolonged periods standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, and pulling
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be physically able to operate power equipment
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
