Job summary

Gexpro, a Rexel USA company, is seeking a Branch Manager for the Mineral Wells, WV location. You will lead a team, coach staff, and ensure profitable and safe branch operations while executing budgets and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities include safety, inventory control, P&L management, customer relationships, and collaboration with sales and operations to reach branch goals; occasional deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales, operations, electrical distribution, or similar B2B industry experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Forklift/warehouse equipment certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and 21+ years of age
• Pre-employment and annual MVR checks
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability and branch performance using digital tools and external digital strategy
• Lead, mentor, and train branch staff; address personnel issues
• Ensure staff have tools to achieve sales targets
• Manage branch P&L to meet sales and income targets
• Enforce safety standards with facility inspections and controls
• Maintain knowledge of markets, customers, vendors and competitors
• Build strong customer/vendor relationships and deliver excellent service
• Oversee inventory control and ensure appropriate stock levels
• Collaborate with partners to support branch growth
• May perform branch duties including sales, orders, stocking, and shipping

Job Description

We are looking for a Branch Manager to join our Gexpro team in Mineral Wells, WV!

Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for developing/coaching their team and providing the profitable and safe functioning of the branch. The Branch Manager reviews all aspects of branch operations, interprets corporate goals, prepares and executes annual budgets, and plans and implements sales and operational initiatives to achieve profitable business growth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to safety, personnel, facility, inventory, equipment, and the overall business results.

What You'll Do:

• Drive profitability by utilizing company digital tools to maximize all aspects of branch performance.Lead external digital strategy through customer digital adoption
• Provide leadership, motivation, direction, and training to branch personnel. Recognize personnel problems and take corrective actions asneeded
• Ensure branch personnel have the tools necessary to achieve highest levels of sales potential
• Effectively manage branch Profit and Loss (P&L) to meet or exceed total sales, GE sales, net income, asset management targets, and expense budgets
• Implement branch security and safety standards by conducting facility and asset inspections and taking corrective actions to support controls
• Remain knowledgeable and current about markets served, customers, vendors, and competitors
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective customers and vendors, demonstrate excellent customer service and set an example for other staff
• Conduct/overseeinventory control procedures and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained
• Collaborate with key partners, managers, sales, and marketing to support branch mission, strategies, and growth goals
• Make deliveries to branches/customers as required
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch when required including but not limited to counter sales, preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material, and maintaining branch equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• If required to make deliveries:
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
• High School or GED - Required
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge and experience in inventory control and warehouse operations
• Ability to manage P&Ls preferred
• Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
• Sales and service oriented, self-motivated, dependable, possess excellent leadership and customer service skills
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP system such as Solar Eclipse
• Ability to develop and coach a team
