Job summary

Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Branch Manager to lead the location, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and build a high-performing team.

You will be the local advocate for customers, employees, vendors, and community partners, using your business knowledge to keep the branch running smoothly. You will drive revenue and profitability, monitor performance, coach staff, resolve customer issues, manage reservations and vendor relationships, and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years management experience in a fast-paced environment, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve strong results.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with excellent communication and customer service problem-solving skills.
• Strong sales coaching, operations, and project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and drive business performance.
• Working knowledge of labor and employment practices, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret reports and performance data.

• Build a high-performing team through ongoing coaching and development, setting clear performance goals, reinforcing KPI accountability, and aligning employees with branch and business objectives.
• Ensure that all corporate policies and procedures are administered and followed appropriately by all personnel.

As a Branch Manager, you’ll lead the overall success of your location, ensuring a great experience for customers while building a positive, high-performing team. You’ll represent Hertz within the community and serve as a key partner to customers, employees, vendors, business partners, and local organizations. As a Branch Manager, you’ll combine your business knowledge and leadership skills to keep the branch running successfully. You’ll make informed decisions, solve problems, manage priorities, and motivate your team to achieve operational, financial, and customer service goals.

What You’ll Get

• The starting salary for this role is $75,000.00 annually, commensurate of experience.
• Bonus: Eligible, up to 15% of annual salary.
• Reimbursement for Travel Expenses (as applicable, per Company policy guidelines).
• Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at 1.25 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays).
