Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. seeks a Branch Manager to lead daily operations at our Reno-area branch, driving service quality, sales activity and financial performance. You will supervise staffing, safety programs, and fleet utilization while implementing strategic plans to grow market share.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of leadership and sales in construction rentals, with the ability to empower teams, prioritize workloads, and uphold Sunstate’s standards and culture.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years leadership/sales experience in construction rental or similar.
• Hire, develop, lead and empower employees to improve decisions.
• Able to prioritize workloads and manage shop personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations including service, maintenance, Inside Sales, transportation & logistics, P/L and payroll scheduling.
• Forecast revenues, expenses, fleet ROI and overall branch growth.
• Lead monthly safety and branch meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain company standards for facility, equipment, and delivery fleet.

Position Requirements

• Oversee all aspects of branch operations including service & maintenance, Inside Sales, transportation & logistics, P/L, and employee related items (payrollscheduling, performance evaluations, etc.)
• 3-5 years leadership/Sales experience combined in construction rental or similar industry, preferred
• Hire, develop, lead, and empower employees to make better business decisions.
• Efficiently prioritize workloads and manage shop personnel to ensure timely service repairs.
• Assist in the maintaining of company standards within the branch and it’s equipment and fleet.
• Prepare yearly business plans with the District and Regional Management Teams, forecasting revenues, expenses, fleet ROI and utilization, and overall branch growth.

• Oversee all aspects of branch operations including service & maintenance, Inside Sales, transportation & logistics, P/L, and employee related items (payroll scheduling, performance evaluations, etc.)
