Job summary

United Rentals in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Branch Manager to lead operations, drive profitability and develop a high-performing team across sales, service and drivers. You will ensure outstanding customer service while managing safety, budgets, and daily branch activities.

You will oversee sales initiatives, prepare P&L reports, manage personnel, conduct safety audits, and maintain OSHA/DOT compliance. This role rewards leadership, ambition and a competitive spirit with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and minimum 5 years of business management with P&L experience.
• Strong sales, customer service, and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis for reports.

What you'll do:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred


• Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center


• An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation


• Strong sales and customer service experience required, outside sales experience preferred


• Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills


• Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office


• Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred


• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Compensation Range:

$86,675.00 - $138,685.00
