Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager in Enid, OK to lead a top-performing location. You will hire and motivate a diverse team across sales, service, maintenance and drivers, and drive safety, customer service and profitability.

You’ll oversee budgeting, reporting, and day-to-day operations while building strong customer relationships and ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT and company policies. This is a growth-focused role at the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and equivalent business experience.
• Minimum 5 years of branch or profit-center management with P&L responsibility.
• Strong sales and customer service background required.
• Understanding of budgeting, financial statements and reporting.
• Effective leadership, organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations to ensure safety, productivity and profitability.
• Lead sales initiatives and customer service efforts.
• Prepare reports including P&L, budgets and monthly reviews.
• Manage personnel matters and safety programs (OSHA, DOT).
• Develop staff and drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives
• Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other reports detailing operational status
• Manage personnel matters
• Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug and alcohol testing
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center
• An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation
• Strong sales and customer service experience required, outside sales experience preferred
• Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
