Job summary

loanDepot is seeking a skilled Loan Processor to independently process conventional and government loan products in our Ohio office. You will review files, gather documentation, and ensure timely closings while maintaining compliance with investor guidelines.

You will collaborate with loan consultants and processing managers, manage a full pipeline, and use document management systems to update statuses. A strong background in FHA/VA and DU underwriting is essential.

Qualifications

• Russian fluency is required.
• Minimum 5 years of loan processing experience.
• Experience with FHA/VA loan products.
• Experience with Automated Underwriting (DU).
• Purchase processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files and determine documentation needed to meet investor guidelines.
• Communicate with internal and external customers typically within 2 hours.
• Utilize pipeline reports to manage loans and prioritize daily workflow.
• Update information in document management system accurately.
• Consult with Loan Processing Manager weekly on loan status and priorities.
• Maintain current knowledge of guidelines and loan programs.
• Process loan documentation and submit files to Underwriting monthly.
• Manage a full pipeline and hit monthly funding targets.

Position Summary

Loan Processors will work independently processing both conventional and government products. They will examine and evaluate approval of customer applications for real estate loans and will be responsible for the closing of loans in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files and determine what documentation is required to meet investor guidelines
• Communicate and respond to internal customers (Loan Consultants, Processing Managers) and external customers (borrowers, 3rd party vendors) generally within 2 hours
• Utilize pipeline reports to effectively manage loans and prioritize daily workflow
• Become proficient with document management system and update all information appropriately and accurately in system
• Consult with Loan Processing Manager weekly on loan status and prioritizes workflow accordingly
• Maintains current knowledge of guidelines and loan programs
• Requests, organizes, and processes loan documentation and independently submitting files to Underwriting monthly
• Successfully manage a full pipeline, month over month
• Consistently hit monthly funding requirements based on pipeline size and current market conditions

Requirements

• Fluency in Russian (spoken and written) is required.
• 5+ years loan processing experience required
