Job summary

Humana is seeking a Branch Director for the Seattle area to oversee daily branch operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality patient care. You will lead clinical and administrative teams, collaborate on revenue and budget planning, and support business development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted RN, PT or OT licensure in Washington State.
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare operations experience in Home Health, or 3 years in Hospice or SNF, or 5 years of clinical management experience in a Home Health setting.
  • Demonstrated experience motivating, educating, supervising, and supporting staff and developing cohesive teams.
  • Experience with quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools and methods.
  • Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • EMR proficiency.
  • Valid state driver’s license with reliable transportation and adequate auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily branch operations and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead long‑range planning, fiscal viability, and quality of care for the branch.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and develop staff; provide coaching and performance support.

  • Collaborate with the Area Director of Operations or AVP of Operations and Finance to set revenue and budget goals.
  • Partner with Sales Directors and Account Managers to meet budgeted admission goals and participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct quarterly quality improvement meetings, review patient satisfaction data, and address negative surveys or referrals.
  • Communicate with leadership to implement programs and protocols.
  • Provide guidance and support to Clinical Manager(s) to promote effective performance and delivery of high‑quality home care services.
  • Maintain office operations in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Branch Director

Become a part of our caring community. As Branch Director, you will report to the Market Executive of Operations in this onsite role in Seattle, WA. You will manage daily branch operations, ensuring operational efficiencies, quality of patient care, regulatory compliance, support of business development and patient base growth, achievement of goals, and people management/development.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience and Skills
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Washington State.
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare operations experience in Home Health, or 3 years in Hospice or SNF, or 5 years of clinical management experience in a Home Health setting.
  • Demonstrated experience motivating, educating, supervising, and supporting staff and developing cohesive teams.
  • Experience with quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools and methods.
  • Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • EMR proficiency.

Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Fiscal management experience.
  • Expertise in OASIS and/or Minimum Data Set (MDS).
  • Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) system.
  • Solid PDGM expertise.
Schedule

40 hours per week (full‑time).

Pay Range

$111,600 - $153,600 per year. This range may vary based on geographic location, experience, education, and demonstrated skills. The position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company or individual performance.
