Job summary

SouthState Bank seeks a Universal Banker to serve as a dual Teller and FSR, providing exceptional customer service at the branch. You will identify customer needs, open accounts, and expand relationships while adhering to banking regulations and security procedures.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, assisting with stop payments and wire transfers, and helping customers use self-service options. Prior banking experience is beneficial in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of banking products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, accurate teller transactions and assists customers with account needs.
• Maintains accurate records and balances cash daily.
• Explains bank services and cross-sells when appropriate.
• Resolves customer questions with courtesy and discretion.
• Performs opening and maintenance functions for deposit accounts.
• Supports vault and ATM activities as needed.
