Locke Supply Co. is an employee-owned distributor of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts with over 190 locations in a multi-state area. We are seeking a Branch Associate who embodies ownership mentality and delivers exceptional customer service as a partner to our communities.

You will help manage inventory, support branch operations, and grow with training in the latest trade products. This role emphasizes teamwork, ownership, and ongoing learning in a customer-first environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded and eager to learn electrical, plumbing, and HVAC trades.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
• High school diploma or GED; ability to pass background check, drug screen, and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with product recommendations and cost-effective solutions.
• Meticulously track inventory and manage orders with 100% accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized branch and warehouse.
• Support deliveries, shipping and receiving as needed.
• Participate in training for latest trade products and technologies.

Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment based in Oklahoma City. The history of the company dates to 1955, when Don and Wanda Locke opened a wholesale plumbing supply outlet in Bartlesville, OK. Locke Supply had a marketing vision of taking the merchandise to the customers' territory with exceptional customer service. It didn't take long for customers to develop a strong liking for the way Locke Supply did business, which led to the opening of a second branch in 1958. This concept has allowed Locke Supply to grow in areas never considered. Today, there are over 190 store locations in a 6- state area and a 100-acre distribution center to supply them all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exceptional Customer Service: Greet every customer with a friendly, professional attitude. Act as a consultant, providing product recommendations and cost-effective solutions for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC projects.
• Operational Integrity: Meticulously track inventory and manage orders with 100% accuracy. You understand that being a good steward of our stock directly impacts our shared profitability.
• Branch Pride: Maintain a clean, organized, professional branch and warehouse. You take initiative to improve the branch because it is your branch.
• Collaborative Success: Work as a cohesive team to meet branch profit goals. Support your fellow associates by assisting with deliveries, shipping, and receiving as needed.
