Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other measuring tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press machines according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and measuring instruments.
• Select and install tooling, dies, and machine programs.
• Verify material type, thickness, and dimensions before production.
• Perform first-piece inspections and adjust to meet quality standards.
• Monitor production runs and inspect finished parts for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
