Job summary

Staffmark Group in Defiance, OH is hiring a Brake Press Operator who is proficient in setup, angles, and output. You will dial in the machine and ensure parts meet spec on the first pass. This position emphasizes safety, meticulous quality checks, and timely production.

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to operate cranes and overhead hoists.
Ability to use quality inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

Follow safety and environmental procedures.
Come to work on time every day, as scheduled.
Proficient communication skills.
Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts, comparing to blueprints.
Enter part information/inventory in the ERP system.
Set up, program, and operate Press Brake equipment.
Perform basic preventive maintenance and setup to minimize downtime.
Inspect parts during production.
Set up light barriers to ensure safety.
Execute the scheduling board.
Use a motorized walking stacker.
