Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. seeks a Brake Press Operator for the 2nd shift at our Bedford, PA facility. This full-time, on-site role includes a $2.00 per hour shift premium and responsibilities across loading, operating, and maintaining brake presses.

You will follow SOPs, monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, maintain a clean work area, and adhere to safety policies while supporting production teams.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of machinery and production processes.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates basic machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Loads and unloads materials into machinery.
• Monitors machine operations and reports any issues to the supervisor.
• Performs routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Adheres to all safety and company policies.
• Troubleshoots machine issues.
• Assists Production Operator III's with complex machinery processes.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
