Les Schwab Tire Centers in Spokane, WA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignments, suspension systems, and related components. You will install, test, and calibrate braking and steering systems, rebalance tires, and assist customers with recommendations.

This role offers on-the-job training within a well-known tire and auto service network, in a fast-paced environment with lifting tasks and opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries; dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
