Les Schwab Tire Centers in Salem, OR is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, test batteries, and assist with TPMS recalibrations. You will use standard tools and equipment and deliver great customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds, plus bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, and steering components.
• Test and install batteries and TPMS recalibration.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Pay and Benefits:
