Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, alignment, and suspension components and to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role includes tire work, battery testing, and offsite road service support, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, replace or recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and assorted hand tools.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• test and installing batteries
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services

Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience
