Job summary

Les Schwab in Monroe, WA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering excellent customer service.

You will test drive vehicles, operate service vehicles for offsite work, and refer customers to qualified colleagues when needed. The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. On‑the‑job training is provided, with benefits available after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools, assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary
