Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Oklahoma is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, suspension, and alignment systems and to perform tire-related duties with safety and accuracy.

You will operate service vehicles for offsite jobs, install batteries, test drive vehicles, and provide excellent customer service while following company policies.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
  • Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.
  • Ability to operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Responsibilities

  • Installing or servicing brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
  • Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels.
  • Replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using tools and equipment; assisting other employees.
  • Test driving vehicles; providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as needed.

Job Description:
Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications:

Pay and Benefits:

$16.50 - $26.45
