Job summary

Centre For Neuro Skills in Irving, TX, is seeking a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Caregiver to join our full-time team. You will supervise and directly train patients with brain injuries in Activities of Daily Living, provide skilled instruction, and supervise therapeutic home programs in a residential setting.

You will engage in social and community activities, assist with daily living tasks, document progress, and help create a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Educational Background : Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License: With an acceptable driving record
• Work Experience : Successful completion of a drug screen, health screen, and criminal record check (fingerprints) for caregiver positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, meals, medication reminders, and household tasks).
• Teach and support independence skills.
• Document client progress and activities.
• Accompany clients on community outings, shopping trips, and recreational activities.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

As a member of our team, your role of Caregiver/Direct Care will involve supervising and directly training patients with brain injuries in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and therapeutic home programs. You'll be working in a beautiful residential apartment/home-like setting, offering skilled instruction and supervision to patients. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to engage in social, recreational, shopping, and entertainment activities in community settings.
