Job summary

Arapahoe High School seeks an Assistant Wrestling Coach to support the Head Coach in instruction, conditioning and competition preparation for the winter season. You will assist in developing technique, drills and match logistics to help athletes perform at their best.

Applicants should be prepared to obtain required credentials and CHSAA certification; LPS certification is preferred, with willingness to pursue any additional credentials. This role supports the school’s athletics program.

Qualifications

• Must have a fundamental knowledge of the basic skills of wrestling: technique, practice planning and meet organization.
• Willingness to attain all necessary credentials and certifications for the position.
• Candidate should either have, or be willing to get, LPS and CHSAA certified.

Assist the Head Boys Wrestling Coach with the instruction, education and preparation of Arapahoe High School athletes for competition during the winter wrestling season. Must have a fundamental knowledge of the basic skills of wrestling including; technique, practice planning, and meet organization. Willingness to attain all necessary credentials and certifications for the position. The candidate should either have, or be willing to get, LPS and CHSAA certified. The coach will work to provide optimal playing conditions for each athlete at Arapahoe High School.$39.50 (cash/check) fingerprint fee due upon hire.
