Job summary

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools in Canton High School is seeking a Boys Wrestling Assistant Coach to lead the program and develop student-athletes.

The role requires coaching experience at high school level or college level, a compatible schedule, and willingness to coach additional sports; CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience coaching at high school level or playing at college/university level in wrestling.
• Time schedule must be compatible with the high school calendar.
• CPR/First aid training preferred.
• Willing to coach additional high school sports is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with parents and children.

Responsibilities

• The assistant head coach will be responsible for the entire organization of the sport to which he is assigned.
• The assistant head coach will be directly responsible for all equipment in his/her sport; a complete inventory will be filed with the director at the end of each season.
• The assistant head coach will be responsible for all awards presented in his/her sport and a season summary.
• Bending, lifting, and overhead work required.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
