Job summary

Roseville Joint Union High School District in Roseville, CA is seeking an assistant Boys Volleyball coach to support the Head Coach with day-to-day operations, practice planning, and game-day preparation while promoting safety and sportsmanship.

The ideal candidate holds CPR/AED, First Aid, coaching certificates, NFHS concussion and cardiac safety certifications, and required TB testing and fingerprint clearance. All credentials must be current and hands-on, per RJUHSD requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPR/AED and First Aid certifications and training specific to on-field coaching.
• Must have Coaching Certificate and NFHS Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificates.
• Must have TB test, fingerprint clearance, Keenan course, and RJUHSD required certificates.
• All coach clearance certifications and requirements must be stated on the RJUHSD site.
• First Aid and CPR/AED must be hands-on training, not online.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the day-to-day operations of the Boys Volleyball team.
• Previous coaching and/or playing experience is preferred.
• Support coaching philosophy aligned with education-based athletics and Inside Out Coaching Initiative.
• Contact Athletic Director Jason Sitterud with inquiries.
