Job summary

SLO Classical Academy seeks a Head Volleyball Coach to lead the Boys Varsity program with a focus on safety, development, and competitive excellence. The role reports to the Athletic Director and High School Director, planning schedules, practices, and game strategy.

The position requires prior coaching success, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with students, staff, and families in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated successful coaching for the sport.
• Fundamental and advanced volleyball techniques knowledge.
• Ability to develop and maintain a disciplined program.
• CPR Training and First Aid Certification.
• HS varsity level or college playing/coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and coach the Boys Varsity Volleyball Team.
• Interact with Athletic Director regarding student discipline and schedules.
• Represent SLOCA within CIF Central Section and Coast Valley League.
• Recruit, manage, and mentor assistant coaches.
• Maintain CIF game and player stats; coordinate equipment and budget requests.
• Develop a development plan and set improvement milestones.
• Ensure supervision and safety during practices and games.
