Overview

The Boys Town Youth Associate role is dedicated to allowing Boys Town youth the opportunity to learn, grow, and work as part of the Boys Town community. Works on a variety of tasks to support the Boys Town mission. Various Part-Time positions available for work after school and on weekends. This role is only for Youth attending the Boys Town Education Center.

Major Responsibilities & Duties
  • Responsible for working on a variety of assigned administrative tasks.
  • Connect with supervisor to learn the duties and function of the area assigned.
  • Work alongside Boys Town employees to carry out basic functions to support the department needs.
  • Meet regularly with supervisor and other team leads to “check back”, and complete projects as assigned.
  • Proactively demonstrate qualities of a positive and hardworking employee.
  • Build experience and work knowledge for future career growth.
  • Other Duties: This job description incorporates the essential functions and duties required for this position. However, other duties may be required and assigned at times and as determined by a supervisor in order to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Serves as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to sort documents or other relevant materials quickly and correctly, according to need, including chronologic, numeric, or alphabetical order.
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.
Required Qualifications

Physical Requirements, Equipment Usage, Work Environment
  • Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks. Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up.
