Job summary

Voorhees High School is seeking an Assistant Athletic Coach for Boys Tennis for the spring 2026 term. The role requires a NJ instructional certificate or eligibility, or county substitute certificate, plus experience coaching students in a competitive tennis program.

The coach should demonstrate sport-specific knowledge, training, conditioning, injury prevention, and growth/development principles, and maintain a positive learning environment with high conduct standards.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or eligibility or County Substitute Certificate.
• Experience working with or coaching students.
• Demonstrated knowledge of tennis, sports training/conditioning, injury prevention, and growth/development principles.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and high standards of conduct for athletes.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
