Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain student safety as the number one priority, on and off the field
• Teach sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, and responsibility to one's team
• Schedule, supervise, and conduct all practices
• Maintain supervision of athletes at all times, including on the bus
• Work collaboratively with the district Athletic Director
• Teach sports techniques, playing rules, strategies, and playing tactics
• Condition athletes appropriately for activities
• Monitor athletes' school attendance, grades, and personal conduct
• Respond to player injuries immediately, notifying the Athletic Director and/or school administrator
• Manage uniforms, equipment, and facilities in a responsible manner
• Substitute for absent coaches or referees as needed
• Other duties as assigned by the school principal or designee
• Reports to building principal and district Athletic Director
