Job summary

River Road Middle School in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a Boys Soccer Coach to lead the school team. The coach will model high morals, emphasize sportsmanship on the field, and collaborate with faculty to support players' academics and character development.

Starting immediately, compensation follows the NC State Teachers Salary Schedule plus local teacher supplements of $554.40–$1339.80 per season. Prior coaching experience in soccer is preferred and candidates should be licensed or eligible

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or be eligible to receive a NC Teaching License with experience as a soccer coach or extensive knowledge in this area.
• Must have experience as a soccer coach or extensive knowledge in this area to be eligible to serve as a non-faculty coach.

JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

An employee in this position will be a personal example of high moral character and superior teaching standards. The Head Soccer Coach will teach good sportsmanship as the number one priority on the athletic field. This Coach will work with the faculty and staff to support player academic and moral success.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be licensed or be eligible to receive a NC Teaching License with experience as a soccer coach or extensive knowledge in this area.

OR

• Must have experience as a soccer coach or extensive knowledge in this area to be eligible to serve as a non-faculty coach.

SALARY INFORMATION

NC State Teachers Salary Schedule Local Athletic Supplement

(Based on degree and experience) AND/OR MS Head Soccer Coach

Plus Local Teacher Supplement $554.40 - $1339.80per season
